Shauna Burton is a licensed acupuncturist and esthetician who has been practicing for over twenty years. She has worked at the Lake Austin Spa and French Link Spa and now practices out of a little red barn in a permaculture landscape, right off the b-line in the heart of Bloomington.

Herbal medicine passed down through the generations and refined with modern technology offer a profound healing system. One of the treasures of herbal medicine are tonic herbs, Western medicine does not have anything similar. Many people are worn down for many different reasons, stress, illness, etc. tonic herbs can strengthen a person. The brand Health Concerns which has very high standards is the main source of herbs at The Healing Garden. They are in pill form and easy to take, unlike raw herbs which can be difficult to tolerate because of the taste. 

Acupuncture can help manage pain, side effects of cancer, emotional imbalance, fatigue and many other problems. Clinical studies have proven it can increase white blood cells, strengthen the wall of red blood cells, and reduce pain.

Treatments must be scheduled, there are no walk in appointments.  The first visit is a little over an hour long.
